Cambodia’s council of magistracy has said that it had rejected the appointment of international investigating judge, Mr. Laurent Kasper- Anserment, Swiss national at the UN- Cambodian tribunal after he has violated his code of conducts of the tribunal.
“After the poll, the members of council of magistracy of Cambodia decided not to appoint Mr. Laurant Kapser-Ansermet as a full international investigating judge at the tribunal,” the statement from council said.
Laurent is a reserve judge at the tribunal and his former predecessor Judge Siegfried Blunk resigned. the council of magistracy said: “Laurent released the information in the tribunal like case 003 and case 004 and revealed five people who are suspects in the cases to social media network like twitter and that violated the code of conducts,” the statement from council said. ###
