ADB has been trying to upgrade the education quality in Cambodia with offering the scientific materials for upper secondary schools in the Kingdom of Cambodia, an official said today.
“The materials will be used in the subject of chemistry, geology, biology, and physics.” Ros Sothea, spokeswoman for the ADB in Phnom Penh said, adding that the materials will be stationed for 347 high schools in Kingdom. The project has been implementing from 2008 to 2014 with assistance of over 27 million US dollars.
This morning, the symbolic hand-over ceremony of materials will be held at national institute of education in Phnom Penh under witnesses from education minister Im Sothy and ADB representative. ###
